Air Care is a family
oriented half-hour educational television series. Guests discuss environmental issues that affect everyone living in Williamson County and middle Tennessee. Transportation, Environmental and Healthcare professionals offer viewers suggestions on ways to help eliminate traffic congestion, reduce air pollution, and protect their health from pollution along with tips on how to save money on transportation costs and utility expenses.

on this month's Air Care Program.
The Air Care TV series can be seen on Wednesdays at 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Williamson County Comcast CH3. This month's program can also be viewed starting
August 6 on the internet at www.tmagroup.org. Topics include:
Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson tours the Williamson County Landfill with Lewis Bumpus, Solid Waste Director, for a look at a solar system that is saving the county thousands of dollars in electricity use.
Norm Hoffman, Disaster Coordinator, Williamson County American Red Cross,
discusses supplies needed for a home Disaster Kit and why everyone needs to be prepared.
Ben Bolton, Environmental Scientist, with Center for Toxicology & Enviromental Health (CTEH) talks about the types of Disasters that can occur in our area. CTEH tests air quality for toxic pollutants following natural and man-made disasters.
Adam Roberts, owner of Forganic, talks about their exterminating services for lawn and household pest control. All their products are organic; safe for humans and pets.
Air Care, in its fourth year of production, is a family-oriented, half-hour, television series addressing transportation, pollution and environmental issues. The program is co-hosted by Williamson County Mayor, Rogers Anderson, and Debbie Henry, Executive Director of The TMA Group, Franklin, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit .
In August 2007 the U.S. Transportation Department/Federal Highway Administration endorsed and applauded the work and content of the show.
Air Care is now publicized on their "It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air" exchange.
