Franklin Transit Authority has begun transit service to Eight and Nine Corporate Centre in Cool Springs, via the Gold Route. The Gold Route has stops at The Factory, CoolSprings Galleria, Nissan, and several other locations in the Cool Springs area. Corporate Centre tenants now have a new alternative for reaching local services

The Trolleys

The trolleys are state-of-the-art vehicles operating on clean-burning bio diesel fuel. They have heating and air conditioning systems to keep you comfortable during travel. All trolleys are linked to satellite advance vehicle location systems for efficient, on-time routing to get you where you want to go, when you need to be there.

How to use Franklin Trolleys

The FTA has identified all trolley stops with a Trolley Stop sign. The trolley will stop at each of these selected locations on every trip. Trolley stops are color coded with the color of the route (red, green, blue, and gold). Plan to arrive at your stop 10 minutes early.

If you cannot get to a designated Trolley Stop, the trolley may be able to come to you. Trolley service is offered within 3/4 mile of all fixed routes. Passengers must call FTA 24 hours in advance to make a Flexible Service reservation. The trolley will deviate off the fixed route, pick you up or drop you off), and return immediately to the next scheduled stop. Two Flexible Service stops are permitted per route.
